Minor updates just to prove that I'm not dead. College has been kicking my ass as of late especially when it comes to Intermediate 3D modeling and Literature.

Well, computer finally came today.

Only no one was fucking home to pick it up. And now in order to pick it up I'd have to drive all the way downtown to st. paul to pick up the package, course I have no god damn gas to spare this week seeing as how I had to pay bills.

FML. FML. FML.

The thing said they'd try again Monday but no one might be home THAT day either. FML

Why the hell both parents decided to work days from now on is beyond me >.<

WOO!! I finally bought my HP laptop that I have been pining for since the summer!! Just has to get put together and shipped out, just in time for Star Trek Online. Awww yeaauuh! Now I get to hop on Steam and play TF2 with my college mates. I can't wait! The one I'm using right now is on its way to kicking the bucket. Also, what the hell school, there's a trojan horse going around on your servers and it somehow found its way onto my new USB drive...LAME. We pay decent money to use your facilities, one would think you'd have decent virus protection.

So yeah, I started a new quarter at school, which honestly doesn't seem to have as much of a workload as last quarter. I am getting the last commissions done at a snail's pace,(only 3 left to finish) I just don't seem to have much energy to do anything productive when I get home = | All I want to do is sleep or lay down...I think the winter weather is finally getting to me, its gray and all the streets are icing over D8.

I really wish I could finish the assignment I have now, however I need some things from my group members that no one has bothered to send me yet. I can't put our brochure together if I don't have the resources needed and I work practically all day tomorrow =/ I hope I hear something by tomorrow, if not I'll be a little cross...

Oh well, see how things go tomorrow, at least I get off in time to see the Vikings whoop the Saints. *Crosses fingers*

Also, all of you need to check out Bayonetta, its practically Devil May Cry with boobs and I wouldn't have it any other way. The soundtrack is probably one of the best I've heard in a while.

Phew...my finals are over and I can finally relax.

My goal is to get most, if not all the commissions done. I really can't thank you guys enough for your patience, but first I'm going to take a bit of a much needed break from work related art. (probably just through xmas)

I feel I did relatively well,I got all As in my classes although I'm skeptical of the Contemporary Art grade, there's no way I got an A in that class.

NEW YEARS MEME

1. What did you do in 2009 that you'd never done before?

- Attended two funerals within the span of two months. Depressing I know 8<
- Published a website. Though I'm probably going to go back and re-do it.
- Visited someone in prison. (Yes, a good friend of mine happens to be in the joint and we miss him terribly)
- Became even more of a geek than I have before. Yes, people know what this is about. 8B


2. Did you keep your new years' resolutions, and will you make more for next year?

I don't really make an effort to do this sort of stuff. I know crap needs work, but I'm either too lazy or don't have the time.

3. How will you be spending New Year's Eve?

Probably will work for the first half of the day, then will probably attend a gathering at my friend Lan's house for fun, games and general shenanigans.

4. Did anyone close to you die?
Yeah, unfortunately two people died.

First was my great aunt Judy who passed away from ovarian cancer. Second was my friend Ben's father Jim from lung cancer. Both were terrific people whom I had the pleasure of knowing in my life.

5. What countries did you visit?
I'M NOT MADE OF MONEY D8

6. What would you like to have in 2010 that you lacked in 2009?
A new laptop, which would give me some time to work on projects outside of class and build my portfolio

7. What date from 2009 will remain etched upon your memory, and why?
Probably the day I learned one of my friends was going to prison. I got the call during a run to Micheal's after class and then I sat in my car and cried for some time.

8. What was your biggest achievement of the year?
Getting my website up and honing my modeling skills.

9. What was your biggest failure?
Not having the tools to really produce something good.

10. Did you suffer illness or injury?
Nah just the usual, though I've had more stomach issues this year than I have in past years. Also I've been in a couple of car accidents but wasn't seriously injured XD

11. What was the best thing you bought?
First two seasons of Star Trek: TOS....shut up.

12. Where did most of your money go?
Food, Parking, Useless crap.

13. What song will always remind you of 2009?

More projects to put on my reel, I'm really feeling the pressure now and feel like I got crap.

Getting to hear some more of "The Thrill"'s stuff outside of their anime soundtrack for Blue Submarine no. 6

Up, Star Trek. (I only saw two movies this year!)

Worked. And had people over for a great time, though it rained so we didn't have the pool party as planned.

MY FRIENDS. And my family of course

I still miss Dave and I'm really hoping he'll get out soon. I'll miss Jim and my Aunt Judy.

24. Who was the best new person you met?
Dave really. I met him on a few occasions before but I never really got to know him much until this past year. He's a really great guy!

25. Tell us a valuable life lesson you learned in 2009:

Things come and go. Friends and family will always be there for you no matter what.

I think just being remembered says more than what we receive. Even if someone wishes you a Merry Christmas or sends you a card I think that does more for a person when they are remembered by loved ones and friends on the holidays =3

Due to the extreme workload I have this quarter between Animation, Modeling, and Texturing I am posting to say that Commissions are on a temporary hiatus. I didn't want to do this however with everything going on my attention must be devoted to other projects right now.

I will try to get some work done over the long thanksgiving weekend if I have the time for it, if not I will be sure to start up on work again over the winter break (I have three weeks of doing nothing at that time so I will most assuredly get them done by then) I thank you all for your continuing patience and support.

If you absolutely positively need it by a certain date please drop me a line, I know a couple of things were supposed to be gifts for friends so if you ABSOLUTELY MUST HAVE IT by a certain time please PM me and I will try to work something in.

Once again I am very sorry but college is pretty much my life right now @.@

Homg I knew this quarter was going to suck but it is only now that I realize how much it does.

I have 3 of my core classes this quarter + one general and I'm only on day four of week one. I already feel like ripping my hair out.

- Advanced 3D Modeling -

Granted this class hasn't been bad YET...however I have two models I have to complete on week 5. One of which is an old WWI British Nighthawk which honestly doesn't seem so bad but we'll see how it all goes. Another is a product that someone else wants me to model however I don't know what that is yet.

The thing that has me worried is what's called our 9th level review. In it we have to show examples of what we have worked on through our year. Included are 2 best illustrations, 2 best models (which shouldn't be a problem, I have an idea for one at least) and 2 animations. The animations present a problem since I've only had ONE CLASS that relates to animation and that was my INTRO to 2D class...and I've been told they don't want to see that.

So essentially that means I have to come up with two. One I'll probably use from my intro to 3D class but another is a Flash that I'm trying to do on my own (and failing miserably)...better than nothing I suppose.

-Lighting and Materials-

This class isn't bad, it essentially has to do with unwrapping and texturing the 3D models we did in our Intermediate Modeling class. This is the fun part in my opinion. So I'm actually kind of looking forward to doing this. I'll probably be able to put the textured models in my 9th level review to 8D

-Intro to 3D Animation-

URGGGHHH. URRRGGGHHHHHHHHH. This class is such a pain for me. I hate using 3Ds Max, it's frustrating to because it won't let me undo the changes I make to one of the objects when animating. So if I screw up big time I have to essentially re-open the file. Which happens...A LOT and I don't save that often. *Sigh* Hopefully I'll come out of this alive

-Contemporary Art-

The gen ed I have. I've had the teacher for art history before and she's a down right pain in the ass. She gets overly emotional and doesn't enjoy doing her job...or perhaps enjoys it too much. Blegh...hopefully it won't be too bad. Art History was a PAIN.


Needless to say, I'm going to be swamped with work for a while. To all those waiting on commissios I'm going to have to ask you to be a little more patient as I'm not really able to work on them right now. 8< Sorry guys, I didn't anticipate it was going to be THIS bad.

I hope I can get through this quarter without suffering a mental break down. X.X

Finals are over. Now I get a week to rest/work on commissions.

I'm rather proud of how my phaser came out, this is just the occlusion pass render. Color/Texture will be added in my next class Materials and Lighting 8D

For my Intermediate 3D modeling class I modeled a Romulan Phaser/Disruptor. Came out pretty nice, but I still think my friend miss_ho's phaser came out nicer 8D Now hopefully mine is acceptable in terms of detail because I honestly don't know what else to do with it. Just gotta render it.

My environmental science project is the one that's giving me the most trouble. I got a storyboard to do and write a 3 page paper all by monday. FML...I totally don't wanna do it D8

Lit I pretty much have to throw a book together of five poems+ a statement...bought a cheap notebook at target that i'll just cover with some leftover fabric we have laying around. Just need to write two more poems + the statement.

Ugh why did we switch over to digital tv?! Superior my ass, I can't even get channel 9 or 11 up here which are the two channels that provide me with my fall shows!! Bought a new antennae to see if it would work...but I can't hook it up since I can't get a screw loose to connect the stupid thing.

Better get it to work by Monday, Heroes comes back on....though I honestly don't know if I'm going to get back into it, season 3 left a terrible taste in my mouth =/ Oh well, least I have House to look forward to.

Can't I just time travel to a week in the future when all this will be said and done? *Headdesk*

Today was fun, got to get out of the house a bit an attend the State Fair but it was also a little sad seeing as how my good friend had to go back to college (I MISS U ALREADY BB!). But before she went she made this awesome little thing for me!! 8D

However college decided to be a whore and tack on a bunch of drawing assignments two days after. *SIGH* I'll have to finish those first, but I'll work on stuff when I have downtime. In other news my birthday was relatively awesome, except for the small fact that the tornado sirens went off midway through the party and we all had to huddle down in the basement for about an hour and a half. Couldn't go swimming like I had planned either *Sigh*

But it was still awesome, we played a lot of Xbox, I'm starting to really like the game Worms thanks to it! Thinking of buying it for myself. I got some sweet loot to-

Ugh yeah, mediocre week is mediocre.

I've been feeling rather apathetic these past couple of days, which isn't honestly like me. I feel bitter about certain things while full of does not care for others. I suppose the fact that things keep going wrong doesn't help much. Also I can't seem to draw anything to save my life anymore 8/

I tried to make some leeway on the latest 3D Modeling project I was assigned today and ultimately wound up spending 3 hours doing NOTHING. My goal was to at least get two chairs modeled for our architecture project by tomorrow seeing as how I don't have the bloody program at home (again) I decided to stay after my morning class and sit and model before I had to go to work.

The program crashed twice because apparently the computers we have at our school can't handle the program. way to go. So I got the basic shape of it modeled but it was all crooked and I couldn't make the right adjustments without screwing something up...after 3 hours I said eff it and deleted the damn thing 8/ Soooo I made one of the cabnets which took about 5 minutes. FML.

Yesterday was kind of a crap day to but nielrian made it so much better by coming over to my house and watching both "The Wrath of Khan" and "The Road To ElDorado" with me. We were in hysterics. Thanks hon! We have to get together again sooooon! I wish I could find "Super Troopers" though!!

Eff..I don't wanna work today ;_;

Hooray of course shit goes wrong when I'm left alone in the house for two weeks!!

So a couple days ago I noticed that the pool level dropped quite a bit, which was rather odd as I've never seen it do that before. I jumped to conclusions such as "Must have evaporated" and "Maybe the storm blew it out"

I put the hose in to refill the stupid thing when a couple hours later my neighbor behind me comes to the door informing me that water is spurting out from one of the hoses connected to the system. Turns out the stupid thing had a hole in it and in turn was the reason the water level dropped so suddenly.

Bless the guy for informing me and offering to fix it, I'll have to send him a thank you + rembursement for going to buy the part.

Tried getting ahold of my parents but they're not answering. Oh well, I'll try again tomorrow... it's too dark to deal with it at this point.

Why does this stuff always/only happen when I'm left in charge? 8/

Moving on and seeing as how I'm bored out of my mind. I am a depraved person and every one of you knows it!!
